Winter is our time to go in. Let the seeds we sowed germinate. Keep them warm and nurture them. It’s a time to nurture our ideas and plans. Let them grow within before we present them in the spring. Yoga nidra allows us this time to be still and aware in a completely relaxed state. While in this state between sleep and wakefulness, our subconscious can begin to cultivate our hearts desires- the seeds of our dreams.
Yoga nidra requires only that you be still, comfortable, warm, listen, and feel. You’ll want to have a pillow or two, a few blankets, and maybe an eye pillow or light towel to cover your eyes with.
Shanna will guide you through a yoga nidra and play the bowls as you rest in your journey. You should leave this class feeling relaxed and refreshed.
