Class Description: Yoga nidra or “yogic sleep” is a meditative practice in which the practitioner is guided by the teacher into a healing state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. A regular practice of yoga nidra has some amazing physiological and psychological benefits: restores body and mind, regulates blood pressure, stabilizes glucose levels, alleviates the symptoms of PTSD, decreases the secretion of stress hormones, alleviates insomnia, and heart rate and respiratory rate become normal. Overall, yoga nidra is a wonderful tool to manifest positive change in your life. (90 minutes)
