Wellness Center Practitioner Rae Thompson will walk you through how to prepare an Asian Shirataki Noodle stir-fry. Written details of nutritional facts and benefits of the Shirataki Noodles will be provided for each attendant as well as the recipe used to prepare an Asian style stir fry. She’ll also share her experience with learning the benefits of the PGX Fiber contained in these noodles and its suggested use to improve cholesterol and blood sugar issues. Attendants will also be able to taste the dish and learn other possible ways of preparing them. They can be used as a replacement for pasta in Italian cooking or in casseroles calling for noodles. This is also a gluten-free dish for those who might be on a gluten-free diet for health or a specific diagnosis.
