A Taste of Yoga: Yoga Asana and Pranayama

We will begin the class with relaxation and meditation, move into breathing exercises, then yoga poses, and then end with a long and restful savasana. Bring a water bottle and a yoga mat if you have one. I also have yoga mats available for anyone who needs them. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can start on time.

Instructor Bio: Lilly Smith received her 200 hour Hatha Yoga Certification from Triguna Yoga in March 2020. She was trained at Dhyan Mandir Ashram in Rishikesh, India - and has continued her yoga practice with the Dharma Meghah Yoga Shala in Louisville, KY. Her background in yoga is rooted in Ashtanga Vinyasa and traditional Hatha Yoga. Lilly loves to incorporate various emotional detoxification techniques, meditation practices, pranayama, and yogic philosophy into her classes.

"After this training I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to exploring the depths of these sacred traditions and sharing them with others. I was exposed to so many new forms of release through breath, sound, and movement that showed me how capable I am of releasing emotional weight that I was unknowingly holding onto; and how normal and beautiful it is to fully express whatever it is that arises within me in each moment - emotionally, mentally, and physically. I believe yoga is one of the most powerful tools for self-realization and discovery. It helps me reach further into my potential day after day."
