Instructor Bio: Gigi Santiago helps people achieve and succeed in their goals with yoga practice, fitness conditioning elements, and alternative health and wellness treatments. She has been teaching yoga/fitness since 1988. She studied yoga in India with Siddha Yoga, and lived in California and studied yoga with yoga teachers Tim Miller, Ana Forrest, and Rodney Yee. Gigi has taught fitness workshops throughout the United States and abroad through the American Council on Exercise as a certified workshop presenter. In 1997, she co-created the indoor cycling program "Power Pacing" with Karen Voight. Gigi also teaches and assists children and adults with special needs. She works at facilities for children at risk with my program "ICAN," a mindfulness/yoga program that she has written and developed. Certifications: 200 RYT Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor, American Council on Exercise Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Special Needs Yoga Certified for Children and Adults, Supreme Peace Yoga teacher certified, Reiki certified and practitioner, Workshop presenter for Continuing Education for Yoga and Fitness, AS degree in Medical Assistant Science. Currently attending Maharishi International University-BA Ayurveda Wellness & Integrative Health.
