Global Flow is a vinyasa practice built on a foundation of intertwining philosophies, art, and rhythms from around the world. Equilibrium is essential to this practice, following the breath, and building strength as we restore. In this practice, restoration is as important as activation, so expect to build strength and elevate the heart rate, but to also release tension and calm the mind and body. This yoga flow is a journey through the senses, crossing the world through our unified consciousness in the celebration of the present moment.
About the Instructor: Shannon is a smiley yogini, learning when to fold and unfold. She became interested in yoga, in the philosophies of Buddhism and Taoism, and the practice of Qigong about 15 years ago. Yoga and meditation have been the supportive foundation of her personal healing and wellness journey. She has studied hatha, vinyasa, yin, tantra, gentle, restorative, and kundalini yoga. As a teacher, she opens space to explore, find strength, ease, and a profound connection with this ancient practice, thereby connecting deeply within. She truly believes that in order to be good with others and our environment, we must find balance within ourselves.
